Controls

Move and jump: drag anywhere on the left half of the screen. Up jumps; flick, or tap a direction twice, to dash.
L light (tap three times for a chain), H heavy, S special.
G hold to guard. T throws, which beats a guard. Press G and L together as you're caught to break free.
✦ lights up when the Aether meter is full: your Crossing Art.
Blows that connect can be cancelled: L chain → H → S → ✦.

Settings let you resize the buttons, change their opacity, or move them to the left side.

Controllers and keyboards

Controller: stick or d-pad to move · A light · B heavy · X special · Y throw · R1/R2 guard · L1/L2 Crossing Art · Menu pauses. For two players, connect a controller for player two.

Keyboard: WASD or arrows · J light · K heavy · L special · Space guard · U throw · I Crossing Art · O dash · Esc pauses.

Common questions

How do I unlock the mist palette? Clear Arcade with that commander. Their epilogue unlocks in the Hall of Heroes at the same time.

Can I keep an arcade run for later? Yes. Leave at any time and choose “Resume Arcade” from the main menu.

Does the game need the internet? No. It plays fully offline and collects no data.
